About The Academy

 

At-Taqwa Academy is a registered Charity (1138453) and has been in operation for approximately 10 years. Work started with the publication of magazines/literature and conferences focusing on the youth. We aim to serve the needs of the wider community through the following:

• To provide a deeper understanding of Islam
   

• To further community cohesion
   

• To provide religious education/tarbiyah activities
   

• Publication and free distribution of  literature and audio CD’s
   

• To provide a safe environment for the youth
  
   

The Academy

 

In order to further our services, a suitable premises was required. Alhamdulillah,At-Taqwa Academy purchased a property on
Ley Street, Ilford, at a cost of £520,000. A substantial amount of the purchase money was Qardh-e-Hasanah which we need to clear urgently!

The building was built in the late 1800's, hence,  it required essential building works to meet the current regulations. The building had undergone a complete renovation which brought costs up to approximately £1,000,000.

We humbly request you to become a part of this noble cause by remembering the Academy in your sincere duas, benefiting from the Academy's services and contributing in any means possible. We require Lillah donations to help re-pay, complete and continue this project. At-Taqwa Academy is a registered charity relying solely on Lillah donations from the public to help fund all its services.
